Chitwan's National Park is one of the popular attractions in Nepal. Chitwan National Park is a must-visit for its wild life and elephant safaris. Elephant breeding center, crocodile farm are some of the attractions of Chitwan.

Main activities in Chitwan include jungle safari, bird watching, canoe tour. Jungle Safari is the most popular one. You will journey into the deep forest riding on elephant back, you will witness many of Nepal’s local wildlife like the one horned rhino, deers, birds, flora and fauna. If you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive Bengal tigers.

A walk to nearby villages is also a recommended thing to do. Chitwan is also a place to learn about the Tharu people. The traditional dance and songs are performed in resorts and lodge entertainment. The best time to visit Chitwan National Park is between the months of October and May.
